About the Role

Blush Vermont is seeking a creative and skilled makeup artist to join our team. As a makeup artist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your talent in makeup application, creating stunning looks for over 200 weddings a year, and working with our clients.

Requirements

Full Time

  • Proven experience as a makeup artist

  • Strong knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and trends

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of professionalism and client confidentiality

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of makeup services, including natural, glam, special occasion, and bridal makeup

  • Conduct thorough consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable makeup looks

  • Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, products, and techniques

  • Collaborate with clients to achieve their desired look for events, photoshoots, or special occasions

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the makeup station and work area

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and personalized recommendations

  • Collaborate with team members to create a seamless and exceptional client experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or formal training in makeup artistry

  • Previous experience working in a spa or beauty salon setting
